My main research interests are the economics of international migration, labour market policy and social policy. Current research topics are the economic effects of immigration to Denmark and Sweden, the effects of the expansion of the European Union, temporary employment agencies, self-employment and economic aspects of pension reform. I am director of SULCIS (Stockholm Linnaeus Center for Integration Studies). SULCIS is a ten-year research program that in addition to SOFI involves several departments at Stockholm University and more than 20 researchers. See www.su.se/sulcis
